Honey Bunch Wax* Varieties

The easy to grow Honey Bunch Wax* varieties are evergreens with soft needle-like foliage.  General availability is from mid February through early May.

Noel*

  • Natural growing habit is an upright conical shape, becoming bushier with age.  
  • Noel is covered in snowy white ¾ inch flowers throughout the spring.
  • When used as a landscape plant, Noel grows to 5-7 feet tall and 3-4 feet wide.
  • Noel can be sculptured or hedged; trimming should begin after flowering has finished until mid fall.
  • Noel is an excellent container or flowering pot plant for a patio or garden.
  • If Noel is used as a flowering pot plant to enhance an indoor living space, it is important to keep plant moist to insure maximum flower life (usually 4-6 weeks).  When the plant has finished flowering it can be moved to a garden or patio.

 Cascade Brook*

  • Cascade Brook is covered in soft pink ¾ inch flowers in the spring on semi-pendular flowering arms.
  • When used as a landscape plant, Cascade Brook grows to 5-6 feet tall and 3-5 feet wide.
  • Lightly trimming Cascade Brook throughout the growing season will encourage lateral or side shoot development, producing many flowering arms in the spring. 
  • Heavy shaping or pruning, if required, should occur just after flowering has finished.
  • Cascade Brook is an excellent container or flowering pot plant for a patio or garden.
  • If Cascade Brook is used as a flowering pot plant to enhance an indoor living space, it is important to keep plant moist to insure maximum flower coverage and life (usually 4-6 weeks).  When the plant has finished flowering it can be moved to a garden or patio.

 Cascade Jewel*

  • Cascade Jewel is covered in rich pink ¾ inch flowers in the spring on semi-pendular flowering arms.
  • Cascade Jewel tends to grow slightly more open that the Cascade Brook.
  • When used as a landscape plant, Cascade Jewel grows to 5-7 feet tall and 3-4 feet wide.
  • Light pruning after flowering has finished until mid fall will improve plant density and encourage lateral shoots for flower production. 
  • Heavy shaping or pruning, if required, should occur just after flowering has finished.
  • Cascade Jewel is an excellent container or flowering pot plant for a patio or garden.
